Perfect Relaxing Game to wind down late in the evening .... 10\/10 :). I really like this game. There's some enchanted themed stuff going on, which compliments the relaxed nature of the game. Nifty graphics, soothing sounds, good presentation overall, not too confusing. 4:3 resolution but for the price it doesn't bother me one bit.There are some dumb parts, where you have to play a hidden object mini-game. Thankfully there is a (very small) SKIP button you can click. Some of the mini-games are so stupid the hidden objects are truly hidden behind something else, and you have to wait out a timer for that thing to move - I find this to be a bafflingly crappy design decision. Oh well, not a biggie if you remember the SKIP button ;)In terms of difficulty, I find it to be just right. If you prefer a game where you mostly beat each card arrangement perfectly this mostly likely isn't the right game. But if you are OK with finishing with 4 or fewer cards, the game does consider that a success an allows you to proceed. I actually appreciate that I have to work for a run of perfect games, but that's my preference which won't be for everybody.. Surprisingly good game with a crazy mix of solitaire with hidden object. I would have never believe such combination would work if I had not try. But I gave this game a chance and regret nothing.The main gameplay is a simple solitaire - you have to remove all, or almost all cards from a board. By completing levels player gets gold, exp, unlocks some goodies and helping characters. There are 240 levels in total! They are not getting boring due to unique patterns for every of them and some interesting mechanics different for every part of the world one travels.Yes, one has to travel a magic world, because the game has a simple story. It goes forward every 10 levels and is mostly made by short hidden object minigames. Do not expect anything serious or plot twists - you just have one important mission to do and go straight forward to complete it. Still, the story is a very nice addition.Person or people responsible for graphics for 'The chronicles of Emerland. Solitaire.' did an awesome job. Backgrounds are wonderful and very detailed. It was a pure joy to look for objects hidden in them. Animations are simple, however they look very good - especially the last boss which looks like being made in 3D, but it is actually 2D.As for me, the game looks just perfect.Same goes to soundtrack, calm and toned, simultaneously giving a feeling of adventure and being in some magic place. Well...Do I recommend the game! Heck yes!It is absolutely worth playing!. Another addicting Solitaire game. You do not have the ability to replay one certain level to get a better score once the set is done. The only way to do this is to replay the level itself over and over until you get it perfect, or replay the whole set from the start of you have multiple non-perfects.The hidden object portion of the game is really easy and if you get stuck you have the hint button that will fully recharge over a little time. If you exit the game midpoint through a set, it will fail that level once you restart the game. So, if you do not want this to happen, make sure you are fully commited to playing all 10 rounds in the set before you exit the game.Achievements are easy to get.. At first I really wasn't sure whether or not another Solitaire game was necessary considering Solitaire comes with Windows and there didn't seem to be much room for innovation. Turns out that this game is pretty good though. The mechanics of this game are a bit different, you're not building suits but rather collecting cards in ascending or descending order to clear the field. A few other things are tossed in, but thats the core of it, and it's surprisingly fun for what it is. Sure it's not something you spend hours playing, but if you need to waste 20 minutes this game is great.I honestly can't really think of any real negatives for this game, so if you're looking for a new time waster, get this. Especially if it goes on sale.. The chronicles of Awesome Solitaire.. it's an alright game, can get a little repetitive and boring though 6\/10. It looks nice if a bit much for what I want for a solitare game. I don't need that much overlying epicness in my card game, I just need neat game mechanics and replayability. But I don't like the inability to play in windowed mode. If I can't do it, I don't want to play it. So my not recommending it is only for people like me who prefer to play all their games windowed. I can't speak of the quality or fun. (except it seems a bit overblown)
